New Best in the Mustang,

Yea I know it's a lousy ford but this site is dead. SuperStallions held a track rental at Cecil About 150 cars. I made 24 passes (got there 1/2 hour late and left a 1/2 hour early). Quickest was a 13.144 @104.93 Car is an '07 GT auto. Mods are cold air, hand held program (Diablo), 3.73 gears and drag radials. Not a LS1 but not too shabby for only 281 cubes. I hot lapped at the end of the day. Made 7 passes in 45 minutes. Went 13.156, 13.144, 13.169, 13.188, 13.175, 13.177, and 13.166. I'm sooo glad I don't have an eng oil temp gauge. But hey it's still under warranty.

Can I get a ruling on this post???

Just kidding... Yeah its that time of the year when the car is parked and nuttin is happening. I didn't think a post about about having the windshield replaced this past Saturday morning after it took a rock at the inspection stickers was "post-worthy"...

Pretty consistent there on the 13.1x's. I'll have to keep that in mind when we meet up again in brackets...

Nice, but you KNOW this means you got 12s in the back of your mind.

Hmmm,, I never installed a cam in one of those things before.

I think there are 2 cams???? but what do i know. Well on paper here's how it works out. I could of lost 50lbs by running 1/4 of a tank instead of 1/2 and removed the spare tire and stuff. Should of could of make the fast runs first thing in the morning in the real good air. Best mod would be putting my daughter in the car (150lb weight reduction lol). So could of on paper lost 200 lbs and made the fast runs in better air. But that is bench racing.

This may be the last time out for a while. I'm debateing to take next season off. We will see how the knees and $$$$ are at the end of January. Anyone want to sponser a gimpy pony???????

Its got 2 cams... I watched HP TV rerun last weekend and they took a brand new 07 4.6 mod motor out of a stang... swapped on heads and camssssssss, couple other things like a blower and put it all back together for an additional 200 ponies

I am sure we canfigure out how to put in 2 cams... heck all we gotta do is pop off the valve covers!!!! I'm not an expert after 30 min on tv !!!

TWO CAMS!!!

DANG, if it took 3 cases to do Ron's cam swap,,,,

3 cases per cam, x 2 cams = 6 cases! We're gonna need more help!

And we're going to need to pad my head instead of just the lift. I forsee me falling down ALLOT!

You forgot to add the extra beer for the 3 valves per cylinder. That a case per side. Total is now at 8 cases. I will start working on drinking the cases at once to keep John from falling down.

Ah but you have all missed another important case... the case for the extra timing chain. 2 chains means at least 1 more case
