i need to get either a rebuilt or recycled low mileage tranny installed. im looking to get a good deal and great work. I've been burnt before and really need some reference on who's got the best deal and best work on getting a tranny rebuilt & installed or recycled +warranty & installed. anyone can help me out from one F body lover to another it would be appreciated.

If you are willing to drive, Vics transmissions in Elysburg PA are very good.

 

I live 5 miles from him and he wanted $2000 to rebuild mine.

I just built my own, we will see how it works.

i think you can buy used one from a used parts with warranty and then you can take it to your mechanic for installation
i think thats the best way get it done by someone you know

 

where are u located... Got two great tranny guys in pottstown pa.

And maybe i missed in but for what trans.
