Agree ANYBODY but the 'Beagles

Why do they "deserve" it?? Unless I'm mistaken, they had three chances and couldn't get it done.

I'm tired of hearing, "we deserve it", "we get no respect", etc., etc., etc.

How about EARNING it??!! They couldn't get it done the previous three years, so they "deserve" this one?! They want repsect?! Try making a routine play WITHOUT doing a dance and acting like you just won the game after every tackle. Stop shooting your mouth off ('3rd string at best' Freddie) and just be thankful you found a team dumb enough to sign you.

Talk about an inferiority complex..."poor Eagles"

Not to worry, the team with the class, with players who make the big plays w/o making an a@@ out of themselves, who DID win the Championship games when they were supposed to, THAT team will win the Superbowl.

Man... sure are alot of Eagles haters here.

Here is the way I look at it. The Eagles have had plenty of chances and blew it every time. Its not the Eagles who deserve a win, its the fans. You cant deny the fact that eagles fans have been die hard thru thick and thin, and never jumped off of the bandwagon. The eagles have teh best fans in the NFL period. We are the ones who deserve a Superbowl win. Its not going to be an easy win against the Pats, but I do honestly belive that of all the teams in the NFL, the Eagles are the ones who can beat them. If the Eagles bring their A game, with or without T.O., they will beat the Patriots. If Owens plays its just a bonus. I'm not counting on him and I dont think anyone on the team is either.


The only one on the team who "deserves" a win is McNabb. I think he is the best QB in the league and when he is on fire there is no team out there that can hold him down. Not even the Pats.

Either way I think its going to make for the best Superbowl in a long time. Now I just hope Janet pops her top again to make it more memorable

 

The Eagles deserve it? They don't dont deserve anything. If they want a championship, they need to earn it.

Deserving has nothing to do with it.

I'll agree that "some" of the Eagle's fans "deserve" to see them in the S.B., and maybe win it too, but please..."the best fans in the NFL"???

I've seen more of the old Eagles clothing, etc., being worn by these so called "great fans" lately than I've ever seen previously. Could it be that they're also "band wagon jumpers", "closet fans", like they are so quick to label anyone who doesn't root for their beloved Eagles.

Oh sure, it's easy to "beat their chests" now, especially with Owens playing, but should they lose, wait and see how many put their Eagles apparel away, how many excuses they come up with, etc., etc., etc.

As for "best fans", yes, there are the loyal few, but look at the above post. Just proves my point. Lotta class there Sure, they're "great fans" especially the one's who chase a Mom and her daughter from a game, before it begins, by yelling obscenities at her through a bull horn; who buy a $3 pretzel, just so they can cover it in mustard, and throw it at anyone not wearing Eagles apparel; etc. , all of which I've seen personally going to some games.

For the "true" Eagle's fans, I hope its a good game for your sake.

As you can can tell from my screen name I'm a Steelers fan,big time ! I normally don't root for the Eagles that much but I'm sure rooting for them now ! I hate the Pats almost as much as Eagle fans hate Dallas. They're all a bunch of ...................(unprintable) & so are most of the people I've talked to that like them.I don't just wanna see the Pats lose,I wanna see them get crushed & go back to New England with their....tails between their ...... legs !!!

You know all this SB stuff made me forget about NASCAR. Looking forward to this year myself. I'm going to Charlotte for the 600 with 12 guys. What more could you ask for... 5 days, 4 luxury motorhomes, a grille, horse shoes, cold beer, and 4 dyas of racing.

Ron, you can jump on the bandwagon too. there is plenty of room on the 8 train. My 2 favorite drivers have to be Jr. and Stewart. I was never a big 20 fan untill I went to NC 5 years ago. I watched him run in the Indy 500 and fly to Charlotte and run the 600 and place 2nd... I would have passed out by the 3 turn

I attend Daytona for the 500, Charlotte for the 600, and Talladega in Oct.

We'll have to meet up at Charlotte. You have to check out the Bass Pro store, DEI, and RCR when you're in Charlotte next time.

 

awsome! Yeah we will have to meet up. We have spots in the farm field behind the track. We actually get our campers from the place right there on the other side of the track, I cant remember the name of the place. I go with my friend Kevin. His brother lives down there and orginizes the whole thing every year. Actually he does it 1-2 years in advance. the motor homes we have this year were put on hold 2 years ago.

 

Been on the wagon for awhile... I have a "3" tattoo with "8" as the shadow.
I'm game for any race. I think I might look into one of those Hagey tour bus rides to Bristol.
