My car should handle like it's on rails next spring

I just got a bunch of suspension stuff for my formy and will be getting them installed in the spring. I already have BMR SFC, an SLP STB, and Spohn LCA's installed. I just got a set of Bilstein HD's, 1LE front swaybar, energy suspension polyurethane endlinks all around, 1LE durometer front swaybar bushings. And I just bought a set of used WS6 springs and will pick up a Hotchkis adjustable panhard bar sometimes next week from Summit Racing. All I need now is some new tires, the stock Eagle RS-A's suck.

Hopefully mines on the set of rails right next to yours with nearly identical setups.

Yeah, that's starting next year with headers and possibly a hotcam. I'm not sure if I want the hotcam kit or go with the cc305. But first, I need to get a job so that I can buy more goodies next summer

The difference between the Hotcam and CC305 are very small. For the cost $479 Hotcam kit cant be beat. All I'd recommend is some Comp Cam 7.200" Hardened pushrods when you get it done.

You doing the cam yourself or need some help? I'll probably have mine in by then and have some insight for you.

I'm going to see if my friend could install it for me, if not, I'll ask my dads friend to see if he might be able to do it. But any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Well, it is a bit lighter, has AWD, and a shorter wheel base.

With all those great mods....you really should increase your rim size ! Tire roll will be your car's weakspot if you really push the car hard in the twisties ! Get as big a rim under there as possible....(front and back)

Heavy

scyzoryk - you have nicely chosen mods, but have you improved the driver? attended autocross events (giants stadium). with good R compound tires, your car can hang with and beat stock Sti's. my formula had similar mods and STi's weren't a problem on autocross, but i've been doing it for 7 years. on road courses (lime rock, etc), you will dust a stock STi because their AWD advantage doesn't do much on the wide open courses; its helps more for autocross than road course.
