Wink

I hate you and your future 383.

Any planned timetable on the re-debut?

Also, what caused it to puke?

You should see my credit card bills

Its the middle of racing season, parts backordered, etc. I hope to be back on the track for the last session of points ie mid July but its doesn't look good

75,000miles, 800 runs down the 1/4, lots of overrevs (missed shifts etc). I overreved the car big time (one time too many). Car still ran but got worst and worst.

Sorry to hear that. I guess it will be a few months now before you are back again. Then again, most of E-town t-marathon races are in the Fall.
Good luck with the rebuild,

Jim,

Sorry to hear that man. Just jam a piston and a set of rings in that bad boy an go get some points, till that stroker shows up.

Us poor South Mountain boys have either been rained out, flooded out, or mudded out almost every weekend this season. I think we've only got 3 points races in so far. The good news is you can't get too far in the hole after only 3 points weekends!

Steve, I think I'm the only one happy about the rainouts. The stroker was ordered 3 weeks ago. I been running the trailblazer and actually lost in the 3 round last time out. John (pits next to me) has been letting me run his nova but its hard jumping into something and trying to win rounds. The car is setup for him and I have a hard time cutting good lights. Either I go red or .600. I expected to get the new engine this weekend but that ain't gona happen. Next points race is July 5 and 6. Wife will have the Trailblazer in Raystown pullin the popup. Don't worry I'll be running something. It may have an enterprise sticker
