just introducing myself

Im not really that new here, been here since 2003, haha. I'm from Upstate NY and getting my first camaro pretty soon I've wanted one ever since I was nine years old when my dad took me to a car show down the street and many of the cars there were camaros and were doing burnouts as they were leaving. That was also the day in late May when all of those tornados were in upstate ny, pretty scary stuff... 10 years later im finally gettin one. Im lookin for a black or dark blue 98-02 M6 Z28, mileage less than 100,000, excellent shape, and less than $10,000. If anyone knows of any like that around here or wherever let me know. I found a nice one in Texas of all places...

Welcome, again!

Keep your eyes open and dont get too jumpy. They are around you just have to be patient to find a good one that fits your needs.

"welcome" even though youve been here longer than me.

just my opinion, maybe try to look for a car that hasnt gone through upstate NY winters. all of the snow and salt will do a number on a car!

I live in Glenville NY. Its about 15 minutes are so from Albany. Yeah im taking my time even though I want one so bad, haha. Yeah that one in Texas I was talking about was around 7900, it was 98 dark blue z28 with a white/beige interior and a 6 speed, and around 85,000 miles. It was so nice but my parents wont let me go down to texas.. I'll just have to wait for one around here I guess. Im willing to drive as far as they let me, probably at least 250 miles..

About winters, right now i have a 93 thunderbird 5.0 HO, i've had it since august 2004 and im planning on keepin it for my late fall/winter car so i dont get the camaro all salty. Just gotta find a place to store it.. Im thinking my uncle Mark's house or wherever he stores his charger. Idk hopefully somewhere where I wont have to pay much if anything.

Can you send me a link to that pewter z28 if there is one? Its probably out of my budget cause its a 2001 but i dont mind looking anyway just incase it isn't.

Heres the link to that one in texas..for some opinions Only thing i wish it had was ttops or it was vert. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Z28-Z...QQcmdZViewItem

Update: Just found this in MA, should I go for it? What do you think? http://www.cars-on-line.com/25720.html
