Install Prices?

I know a lot of you offered help when I asked about installing my headers. Anyway, I still might get a shop to do it. Anyone know how much on avg a shop would charge me to set up my whole exhaust. Headers, Y pipe, cat back?? Thanks.

I would be willing to help with the header install also. I have a set of headers that I need installed also. Im about an hour and a half away, but if we can get enough people, we could do both of our headers in a weekend. A shop around here quoted me 600 to just put the headers in. Thats way too steep for me to pay.

Its so much easier to "forget" to put things back , when the motor's on the way back in too...

Mickey should be done with my car by this weekend or next. Weather permitting we'll be breaking in the 383 at Atco on Feb 8th.

The problem is the LT1 is a real PITA to put headers on. I know most shops are around 500-600 for headers. For a complete exhaust system your looking at even more.

I recently did a set of SLP shorties and Y pipe for 300... and I'll never do it again for that price. Its just not worth it for the amount of work thats involved, especially if you want all the "other" stuff put back on.

I know what you mean, I installed my SLP shorties and $300 wouldnt be enough for me to install them on anyone elses car, I would want more like $500. I'm really not shocked shops charge more than that.
