I have a 97 Firebird i bought it as one of the repo's that i had picked up thinking that i would find the time to fix it up so now i love my car but i just can't drive it anymore i dont have the time so more and more keeps going wrong with it. When i bought it it was is bad condition there was birds nests in the air filter, the coolant had large brown chunks of i couldn't even tell you what and the oil was so thick i had to get in with a wire and get most of it out. All of these things have been fixed as well as the valves being replaced. Here's what the problem is it has big body troubles im not seeing any rust but the passengers side of the car the rear quarter panel is completely smashed in it doesn't affect the way the door closes but it makes the car look really bad and when i drive it and see other people all i can think of them saying to themselvesd is typical girl she doesn't understand whatb she's driving because that is prob what i would be saying there is also a small dent on the drivers side quarter panel but that could easily be popped out and it is behind the gas tank door. Let me contunue with the drivers side window does not go down anymore it's up all thwe way so it dosen't leak but it would be nice to put it down yuet another thing i don't have the time to look at. Other then that the cars interior is amazing it's clean and there is maybe one burnhole in the drivers seat not even as big as a dime it also has a working am/fm single disk cd player. The car itself has been really good to me but i just don't want to go threw the hassle anymore it has 60,000 miles on it. Ifanyone is intereseted or could tell me how muich the car is worth i'd really be greatful i don't no what to do i need to buy myslef another car when i get rid of it but i no im prob gonna have to give it away so please let me no.

 

sounds like you have a good candidate for a race car on your hands.. Does it have a good title? Or is it a salvage? If you sell it as is you probably wont get more than $500 -$1000 for it. You will probably make more if you part it out and sell it for parts. But that requires time and you already stated you dont have that... Your best bet is to get some good pics, set a decent price and put it in the for sale section here and you might get a few bites. We have a couple of resident parts junkies who might by a car like that and part it out.
