Winter is coming soon, and I have no intention of driving the 1LE or the boosted Z, and the 90 firebird got permanently retired, so I'm in need of a new winter Fbody.

V8 a must unless you are basically giving this thing away, manual or auto is fine, ttops a bonus, high mileage and rough exterior are fine, heat would be a bonus. Id prefer camaro over firebird, iroc or z28 over rs, but I will entertain anything decent.

I'm in the Buffalo NY area, I'm willing to travel somewhat if someone has a deal. Emphasis on BEATER, I dont want to spend good money on a nice exterior or low mileage car that I will just then go beat the **** out of. Id prefer to stay in the 500-1500 range, but could move up or down a bit depending on the car.

its not like it was meant for me, bc he put a paint job on it (not a color i woulda taken), and it has no ttops. if he wants to sell it to me in the range i mentioned in this thread, then ill think about it

 

wow - ur the first person besides me ive met that drives camaros as winter cars

 

I learned to drive in the snow with my '85 Camaro....I didn't even put sand bags in the rear for the first several months of winter

sand bags in the rear. what an crazy thought. just drive ti like it is and don't be stupid. thats what got me throught winter.
