Talking I Bought My 1st Ride! 86 Iroc Z!

I bought this COMPLETELY on my own, insurance, registration, everything; and its a DAMN good feeling. I swear the night i got it i slept no more than 45min.

It's a 1986 IROC-Z w/ 57,xxx mi. the previous owner recently put in a shift kit w/ the 700R4. shifts hella firm

TPI 305...my bro and i are going to clean up the engine bay soon


My ride and my big bro's 90 Formula

Upgrades/mods/fixes so far:
Replaced headlights
Replaced HIDEOUS windshield wipers
Oil Change
Removed fog lights
Removed cruddy aftermarket radio. I have a 305 and EDELBROCK headers for my radio now
Replaced electric fan kill switch on center console

Upgrades/mods/fixes planned:
Install new hood struts-purchased
Install new fuel filter-purchased
Install new PCV Valve-purchased
Replace T-top seals to stop the inevitable ttop leak before it starts to get really bad.(way down the road though)
Get new radio
Please let me kno wat u think.

Nice car bud! I remember way back in teh day when my buddy bought his first car it was the exact same car only in gray/silver. We had tons of fun in that car. Pretty quick too for a 305. Great motor and a nice car. That one looks really clean for a 3rd gn that old... good luck with it.

Very cool. I know the feeling. Nice color too.

But dont mess with the Formula if its a TPI.

If you dont need a front tag remove the front plate bracket. Only two screws. And it will say "Camaro" underneath there.

wat did u mean by this? my brother's Formula isnt a TPI its got the throttle body injection
