I'm going to try to get there by 6. It won't be easy, but I'm going to give it a shot! You guys are going to show your cars, right? I will look for you... look for me also. We'll be in the racecar section - Rick's car and my dad's vega.

 

I might go, I dont think I'll have the Hawk though, its sitting in the garage until the Cops and Rodders show Sunday. I'll be there in my blue Rubicon

 

I'll try to show my SS454 if they let me even though it's not really show quality.

Hey Eric, you left too early. I grabbed something to eat and came back out for 15 minutes and ended up winning the 1st trophy of the night! I guess Hooters(girls) like trucks with big engines! So next month, take a half day and get your car cleaned up early. And where was that Xth Hawk at? It was good seeing you and Rick again Jacki.

 

It was great to see you also Jeff. The truck looked good and what better to put on your shelf than a trophy that says "Hooter's Girl's Choice"??

Rick and I were talking about how the name of the event is "Race Night" and all the race cars are mixed in with everyone else. AND, there was ONE trophy that went to race cars. I think Rick had the most horrible spot in the entire place too.

I'm going to go to their website and send them a little letter saying that they're forgetting what the name of the event is!!

I had a good time though. I ran into so many people that I haven't seen in years too!

Yeah, I was wondering about the "Race Night" name. I guess it's because it's sponsored by Dave Adams Motorsports. They should probably make a better effort to help racers unload their cars and make it easier for them to display. The parking lot area should be strictly for race cars, not Vipers and Vettes. Just don't get me near any of the Imports.

 

congrats jeff on your 1st place trophy! i was getting cold and hungry and i thought i would wait forever to get a bite to eat, maybe next time i'll get there early to eat and drink.
