is this a sunday? I am having a valvetrain party at my house in march.. not gonna be as exciting as heads and cam but I need the help none the less and pampered Z said we should invite some people.. So if this date was set Ill schedule with him around it..

 

Well pamperedz, projectz, and some 97transam guy were supposed to be there, but we will see. haha. John is going to be helping me with it. Im going to start it on the 2nd with unbolting alot of ****.....and john and I are going to really get into it on sat. night after im done with work. Its alright if nobody shows, just thought it would be fun to have some people. O yea and it would be Rons time to "modify" my car. As for the party in my pants thing GREG haha just bring the bitches Steve with the Heads and Cam, knowing my luck ill still be in the 13's lol

 

If anything is done during the week I can stop by and wreck stuff. Is this happening at Tom's Muscle Car Emporium or somewhere else?

 

Note to self: Do not touch any of Harold's car part without wearing gloves!!!!!


Dang I'm a busy guy! Lookout Project, I'm coming after your Mod-Father title!

Yes, first weekend of March we do Harold's, At Tom's HOUSE OF PAIN! Easy to find, just look for all the cases of beer piled up at the end of the driveway! I have to leave town again on the 7th! We'll start the teardown Thursday night/Firday morning, heads, Cam and torque converter install on the agenda. Keeping fingers crossed we don't run into any parts or supply runs like Ron's so getting done by Sunday night is the plan!

We still need to determine how much beer is required, installing the TC in a new process so Ron will need to rework the beer per mod formula! And let's not forget runs to Sheetz!

So I guess the following Sunday is Brandon's. And I think Joe still needs a hand getting his car running? Guess I'll try to get over there next weekend?

And some time we have to plan on getting Ron's Torky converter installed.

Um, oh yah,,,, my car is in pieces spread out all over the garage too? New supercharger stuff to be fabricated and installed wiring harness need to be finished, new posi install, and lots of polishing to get done! But I plan to take a week off from my real job to work on it,,,, well, that is if Harold returns my tools? But that's another post on another site....

But it's all good! It beats the H$LL out of having to work in the #^*()&^*( Cold or in the &#^HGOY* wind and snow on that *(#%^&^*!# Jaccuzzi!
(God I hope I didn't just jinx myself???)

So there is lots of pizza and beer in my near future. I'm either gonna be the LT1 ace, or an alcoholic to fat to fit my car by April 7th when the race season starts! At lease I know a bunch of people to contact to be my sponsors for AA......

Sounds good man. Would that be march the 11th? Im trying to figure out what day it is so I know to get off work and spend the previous day tearing down whatever needs to be taken off. I work at a pizza place so I can get plenty of Pizza, whatever else you need just tell me. Im gonna try and make it to the heads/cam party if I can, if not, good luck!

 

dam it Harold! The 3rd is no good for me. Suprise 60th b-day party for Liz's Uncle that day. We are flying him up from Florida for a fake christining for Sam. It a small party with only his closest relatives... all 200 of them

If you happen to push it back to the following weekend I dont have anything going on then and I can probably come up. If you guys go for it on the 3rd I'll have my cell on me

 

its ok brian. i dont expect u to drive all the way up here just for a hand. im sure we can handle it....but yea, just keep ur phone on haha....

 

I'll be there just to make sure that my LS1 that's sitting on the stand doesn't end up in his engine bay.

Yah, those LS engines will never catch on, how dependable or HP can a engine make without an Opti????

Maybe we should push all Tom's cars out and just take over the whole place.

 

March 11th we're upgrading Brandon's valve train ( no cam install, just springs and rockers ) to LT4 parts. I could use a hand that day, Specially since you are the master of swapping springs without using the air chuck to hold the valves open.

It's not as far a ride for you!
