Greg... not sure if you read my email I sent today. Had a trans mount break this morning. Wasn't sure if I was going to make E-town, but it's fix. However, I'm going to try a new way there which is for me to cut through Newtown, go around Trenton and then head up to E-town. Looking for a new way because I have had problems on the NJ turnpike on the way home from the track a few times. Just wanted you to know so that you didn't wait for me at the "Last Stop in Pa."

Thanks for the update Ron, I was off work yesterday so I didn't see your email. I had a good time today, got 5 runs in which wasn't bad but my best was only a 13.4 I don't think the heat helped any. I would have gotten more in if that little 5.0 didn't knock me out in the first round http://web.camaross.com/bb/mad.gif Damn Mustangs!! http://web.camaross.com/bb/biggrin.gif

Well I did OK. Having to backup away from the start to the burnout box and then cut the engine was a bit unnerving while the track ws inspected. That's cool that they do that, but not cool when I have sit there and swelter with the windows up, helmet on... and have the time to think... ugh.
Then it was even stranger to see both dial-ins at the track end for the same time.. 14.2. I knew then that this was going to be a race won or lost at the start line.
"How close can you cut it without redlighting...", I kept thinking to myself while the track was inspected. The answer: a .567 to the Mustang GT's .619, with a 60' of 2.186 on street tires against the Mustang's 2.115. It was just enough of a decent start that allowed my 14.316 win over a 14.277. What a rush going down the track mirror to mirror and get the win. Definitely worth the $20 and tank of gas...

Ron, congrats on the close win (.013). Looks like your not a rookie anymore.
