yes,it's a cruise meet at Goodnoe's Ice Cream Rest. in Newtown.It's their last cruise night as this landmark is closing this coming weekend.It's on Sycamore St near Rt 413,probably knida far for you considering the weather & all may make it a washout anyway,for me it doesn't matter cause it's only 5 mins from my house

 

Goodnoe's is an restaurant famous for it's ice cream that is closing down. They have a cruise in Tuesday that draws all kinds of cars. Weather's not looking so good, worst case we move inside.People start to show up around 630. Place is usslly calm, that is unless that black 97TransAm shows up and starts a BURN OUT CONTEST!

I checked the weather.com and it is not a night for me that is for dang sure. I think it's going to put a damper on the activities. Dang shame to.

So the 97 TA is going to stay nice and cozy, deep in it's carpeted cacoon. No friggin fun in that.

Well, the Jeep and I drove by Goodnoe's last night at about 6:45. I saw one black "hotrod" (not sure the make) as well as a customized van. I didn't see any cars I recognized, just alot of cars which I attributed to everyone flocking to eat there before they close. So I passed through.

Its a shame the weather didn't cooperate for the last show. Maybe next tues. evening will be better and we can meet at Shady Brook?!

Well you guys missed the show. There were more F-bodies there then any other car classes!

F-bodies = 2

New GT 500 = 1

Street Rod = 1

Restored Nash = 1

Sin Bin = 1

Black GMC pickup = 1

 

Yeah,where were you guys.Pampered-Z & myself were there,on the porch area mostly,but some cars did show up.The '50 Nash was unusual in a cool way.I'm suprised you didn't see us standing there Ed.Shadybrook next week for sure,hopefully it'll be nice.

 

Steelerfan, I think I passed you on Sycamore St., at the light where the old ACME was. I was going thru the light, and I think you made a right onto Sycamore?

I wasn't sure, and forgot John (PamperedZ) drives a black pickup, so when I passed thru, I wasn't looking for his truck. I would have stopped had I see either of you.

Here's hoping we get a break from this wonderful weather and can meet up again soon.
