Thumbs up Going to Cecil County Dragway

I will be going to C.C.D.W. to get some runs in and
I am gonna be accompanied by some others.

Anybody else going to be there?

If anyone sees my Chevelle and me; come over and say HI! It's blue with white racing stripes and a black vinyl top.

Heavy

We will be there Friday evening!

I am hoping to say "HELLO" to 12's !

Does anybody know if this track has a scale to weigh vehicles?

They have scales, but they arent on Friday nights. Usually only sat/sundays.

Track is good,1 of the fastest around. Friday nights can suck for traction due to street cars tearing it up,dragging water all over etc.

Hey, thanks.

I will try to watch out for the wet spots.

I did hear that the track is one of the fastest. Should be fun!

Results.

I was satisfied with the whole outing.
I didn't get my 12's yet but at least nothing broke on me!
The track was only running the 1/8th because the end of the track was still wet from the rain around 3-4 pm.

My Chevelle ran consistent 8.3 - 8.4 seconds @ 82-84 mph.
They opened up the track to full runs at the end of the nite but by that time, there were tooooo many people there! And I was only able to make 1 1/4 mile run.
13.2 @ 104mph.

Last time I went to the track; I found out the trans is going!
This time; I found out I might be outrunning the fuel system.
It's probably the fuel line; it's still the stock piping!

I really feel the car can run mid 12s at 109-112 mph once I get these issues taken care of !

On a side note...there were alot of cars I saw run and there were 2 LS-1 ram air TAs (stock) and they both ran 9.20s in the 1/8th!
This kinda of gives you an idea of the weather conditions. Very humid and warm.
