Gauging interest in my car (95Z)
Gauging interest in my car (95Z)
Its about a 95% chance I'll be selling my Camaro soon, just wondering if there'd be interest in it:
95 Z28, Bright Teal Metallic with Berger-style (flat black)rear tail panel
Manual windows & locks
Richmond 3.73 rear
Pacesetter LT's & Off road Y-Pipe
LT1 Scanmaster
164,125 miles
XM ready! (sorta)
Other mods in sig.
Still runs real strong and sounds great. Selling it because I need a daily driver thats economical, and the Camaro is headed towards being a track car. There's no cat, so you'd either have to put one on, use it as a track car, or take your chances. Bought the car for $5,800 3 years ago, and I've put at least $3,000 into it on repairs and mods.
Problems:
Dented behind driver's door, with small rust patch. Easily accesible to repair through speaker well. Paint on body is still in good shape, but nose and hood could use a respray. Heater hose broke the other day, replaced it, but Opti got wet. Ran a little crappy after it happened, but its running fine now. OPTI STILL MAY NEED TO BE REPLACED. Wiper motor needs to be replaced, wipers work but don't go all the way down when shut off. Also needs a headliner. Interiors in good shape, recently replaced dash pad. Only issue is a tear in side support of driver's seat. Cassette storage part of console was removed, but I still have/can replace it. Air conditioning doesn't work, wouldn't take a charge. Compressor may need to be cleaned/purged or replaced.
Included with the car is a an additional set of stock salad shooters, a stock hood (maroon), and side skirts/spoilers (RS style) as well as another set of wiper arms. Still have most of the parts that came off during the header installation, such as AIR pump, manifolds (broken y-pipe studs), and assorted other parts. Chilton manual as well as GM service manuals (3).
With all that being said, I'm looking to get around $3,500. If anyone wants pics, let me know and I'll send them.
Thanks,
Keith

Re: Gauging interest in my car (95Z)
Update: Drove the car more over the weekend, and its running ok, not trying to stall or anything.
Car is officially for sale, if anyone is interested, let me know, the price is very negotiable.
