Arrow Free King Size Bed

Brian, can you leave this for 2 days??? I realize this isn't the "for sale" section but it's local.

I have a king size bed that won't fit in my house. Right now it's in my mom's basement and I'm going over there tomorrow after work to put it out at the trash. Trash men come on Saturday. It's free game to anyone interested.

Oak or Maple headboard that stands about a foot and a half above the top mattress and it has two sliding compartments in it. The frame, headboard, two twin boxsprings and the king mattress are all going!

If you're interested, call or email me (267)231-5885 - Jax1802@comcast.net.

Jacki, have I ever tossed out a post from a local? lol, it will be here as long as you leave it

Sounds like a nice bed... If my house were bigger I would love a King. Liz and I have to deal with a Queen for a few years.

How's the new house? And more importantly how's the new garage?

You guys are too much! Here are some before & after pictures of the house and garage. It's great - still weird, but great!

Actually Ted, it's not my bed. My sister gave it to me when she moved a couple of months ago and it wouldn't fit in my apartment so we stored it in my mom's basement. Now it won't fit in my house so it has to go!! So, I never even slept on the bed.

Jacki, the place looks great... it took me 2 years to do all that in my house. And it only took you 2 weeks! I love your toaster oven... I have the same one in my kitchen. What did you use on the walls in the garage? did Rick put up plywood and paint it or is that drywall? I ask becasue I am going to stud out my garage and use plywood. But I was a little unsure of how it would look painted...

BTW, just because you never slept in the bed doesn't mean you never got to use it

Oh lord, Brian. You're too much.

I worked my butt off to get all that done in 2 weeks! I was there from 7-8am until midnight on the days I wasn't working and I was there from 4-5pm until midnight on the days I was working. I was on a mission!! There is still a ton to do but nothing major - well, replace the bathroom sink/vanity and medicine cabinet, replace the kitchen floor, replace all doors - interior and exterior - and windows (my dad is doing that for me in the fall) and sand a re-paint all the trim. Oh, and hang curtains and pictures.

I love my toaster oven too. It rocks!!!

I honestly don't know what the walls are under the paint. If I remember correctly it is some sort of wood - like the stuff you would put above a work bench to hang hooks on the wall just without all the holes. Know what I'm talking about?

That's a good question for Rick though. I don't even know what kind of paint he used for the walls!! I know he primered them all first and I think he may have just used a flat white paint. The floor is some kind of apoxy based something-er-other.

six7malibu@aol.com is his email. You can get a much better answer from him!!!
