Efi Gm High Tech 10-22 At E-town
Anyone going to the EFI event at Englishtown this Saturday? I'll be doing some testing with the teal car while running in the slick tire class. Sides of the car are still covered by stickers so you can't miss me.

Following week I'll be at Maple Grove running in the $10k bracket race. That race was rescheduled from 9th. I love running against Mustangs but I really need a big payday. The stickers give me an extra 15,000HP
Actually the stickers were put on for the Summit Division race (contingency money). I just haven't pulled them off yet.

$75 prepaid, $85 at the gate. Double enteries allowed and first round buy backs. Have to be on your A game for 8 or 9 rounds.
.080 light is usually a trip home.
Sort of like running heavy at ATCO or the Grove durning the season.

Your welcome to hang out with me at the track. Bracket racing is very complex. Either Ron or myself can explain some things but it really takes years to learn. I've been doing this for 5 years and I'm still learning. Hit the E-town special events to learn the basics then next year sign up for points at Atco, Maple Grove, Cecil, or Raceway Park (E-Town). Stick with it and be prepaired for a harsh learning curve. I have mentors at Atco and Maple. In order to get better you have to race against the best.

If the weather holds, I plan to be down at E-town this weekend and next weekend ('tangs v F-bods).
Bracket racing: every year I learn something new and work on that point. Late last year it was "braking before the line" when I knew I had the car beat so that way I didn't break out. Thanks, Jim!!!
It helped big time on Pontiac day.
Scott, November 12th and 19th are Trophy Marathon events at Englishtown. That would be a good time to get a feel for staging and the track. It's a mix crowd of newbies, intermediates and some serious boneheads. People race everything from SUV's, pickup trucks to mid 70's caddy. (Never laugh at the old caddy... guy has won King of the Hill.)
Worse case; you get at least two time trials and four races to lose and you go home empty handed but with some good experience. If you win one race, you get yourself a knick-knack trophy. Trophy Marathon you don't get eliminated with a lost.
But I would be more than happy to meet up with in the next couple of weekends and get you hooked... um, I mean comfortable on the track.

I'm currently working on deep staging. I have only deep staged the car a total of 7 times.
I don't quite have it dialed into the tree yet.
I'm acutally gonna be testing and tuneing while running in the EFI race. I'm pretty close so it should take 1 or 2 time more shots. Saturday should be fun. Oh yea, I may be down for one of the trophy marathons next month. The diesel truck needs another 4' trophy.

yeah it doesnt look good for tomorrow there Ron. I dont have a car to race right now anyway. I should have it back together by spring. I'm gonna be out of town for 2 weeks starting next week anyway. Going to Vegas for SEMA with everyone at QTP. From there I'm heading to SanFancisco for my regular work... got a class there for the following week. Should be home on the 11th.
