E-town number renewals...
E-town number renewals...
Anyone have the link to the form that I can download and fill out in order to renew my track number at Englishtown? I have looked over the website, www.racewaypark.com, but I cannot locate it. The $3 and form is due to the track by Feb 9th and I have not recieved mine in the snail mail yet.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: E-town number renewals...
The funny part is that he sent in $3 for each number on his car. A total of $12 to renew.
No wait its more. The numbers are on the side and front window. So that $24 to renew.
Ron is talking to himself again because he didn't send in the money for somebody to be his friend for the 2005 season

Yeah I dont think I renewed my number last year and I just use it everywhere I go. They never said anything to me about it. Is it really necssary to renwe your number?
Maybe I should think about getting an NHRA number...
Maybe we should ask Ron what he thinks? Hey Ron, would you ask Ron what he thinks for me?

Re: E-town number renewals...
So I went to look at the site that ron showed and don't really understand the whole number thing anyway? Is this for a year long competition or something? Sorry I am just this year not using my car as a daily driver and I have never been to E-town! I always go to Cecil, unless there was an outing to somewhere else, I have been on the EFA board for a few years and they have had things at MIR that I have been to.. I grew up in MD, so I am not familiar with this area too much, plus I have heard bad things about E-town like thy don't let you run with cutouts! And that is my biggest power maker right now!
Re: E-town number renewals...
sssshhhhh, Jim. I trying to get that past Carol
$6 for the front and back 4's, $12 for all the 0's... I'll be up $21 for a case of beer!!!
Ron say's that for the most part, the number's probably don't need to be renewed for us "once a month / trophy marathon pukes", but I do so because it's "insurance" that I'll keep the same number. I think if you had a real car with a parachute, then it might be important to renew.
What's three bucks anyway... I spend that easily on drive shaft grease.

John...
I go to E-town the most. You don't need a number to go to the track. When you show up they write one on the window. It's just that I got tired of the shoe polish flecks all over the car's black paint, so I bought a perm number and then got vinyl numbers to match. It greatly helped keep the car clean. But then I have to make a point to renew the same number so that I don't have to redo the vinyl decals.
Then you have Brian who just shows up with non-renewed numbers on his window... so his point is it probably doesn't matter... as long as two cars on the track on the same day don't have the same number, if you know what I mean.

Re: E-town number renewals...
Quick question...
On the form that was posted it says that for Saturday High School 1/4 mi track points there is no charge...does that mean if you have a number it costs nothing to race?

Re: E-town number renewals...
No you still have to pay to race, but I guess if you run in the high school series then you dont "buy" a number.
If you run in the points programs at E-town they make you buy a number. If you just run the ocasional trophy marathon and efi events you dont have to. Or you can just show up and if they ask if you have a permanant number just say yes its on the car like I do

Re: E-town number renewals...
I only went to RP a couple of times last year. I was never asked about a number. I just let tech put a number on my car and tried to act like a newbee. Maybe it was a bad idea 'cause at times I drove like a newbee.
