New Yank SS3600 TC really helped with the 60', in turn new best 1/4 times. Long line of Corvettes and Dodges plus two track cleanings really took the fun out of the day so two time trials, one red light gift and then I deciding enough is enough and I want to go home, F' the brake and broke out with new best 12.567 on a 12.73 dail-in. Never felt so happy losing a race.

what kinda tire were you on ron? you were cutting better 60's than when i was on slicks! although i did spin comming out of the whole

 

Pampered-z's xmas ordered Mickey Thompson's ET Streets P275 40R17 mounted on Projectz28's old SS rims. Extra smokey flavor. Set at 18psi. Burn with line-locks on for about three seconds at 30mph. Stage and foot brake a rev just shy of 3k. Launch on your favorite tree bulb...

 

I need to get my car to a better track before the engine build so I can try and see what this motor can do. Maybe if those damn workers at Numedia Raceway would do alittle track prep maybe I wouldnt spin But congrats on the new time ron. Your car moves. My best so far was a 12.2 @ 110 mph. Your still stock suspension right?

 

Still stock suspension. On the last run could definitely could feel the car's front end rise up and the car "squat" on the rear, but no tire spin.

 

Yah, well at numIdia there is no bad track prep, just bad drivers and bad cars! Yah, maybe in better air or lower alt. you'd probably gone 12.0 or maybe 11.9. Then again, I ran the same at Island as I do there? So maybe it's just the driver???

Some suspension parts, maybe a gear change from 3:42s to 3:73s and spray paint my drive shaft gloss black will help a little more. But I ain't giving up my cd player. How else will I be able to listen to "Back in Black" when I'm staging?
