dyno tuner for a 93??
special equipment is required to dyno tune a 93, you all do realize tuning a 93 lt1 and 94 lt1 are totally different.
njspider- you know off hand if they have the chip burning software to do a 93? or just tune all the other obd1 lt1s via flash tune

ant- run a nitrous'd 383 on a mail order tune and let me know how it goes..
cause4panic- yea thats what i may have to do, but thats neither an easy or cheap solution and right now budget is pretty strict so that kinda blows.
at this point im hoping to find a tuner ANYWHERE in the country who can burn me a "Safe" chip and send it to me to just drive it around at first

JD's will tune an LT1 but not a 93.
TTP also will tun an LT1 but again I do not think they have a chip burner.
I dont know af anyone around here that does 93's. Ask JB about him fiasco with mail order on a S/C 93... I bet he will tell you how much easier it would have been to ditch the factory EFI and go aftermarket.
Only place I know that might is SLP in Toms River. They have some old school stuff still around and they might be able to do it give them a call.

Yah, my car sat of over a 18 MONTHS working with various tunes, in fact, I also lost parts and money to a POS tuner in NJ (I'll just say the tuner was not a shop that was referenced in this post or probably any other in the past two year. it was a person that strickly did tuning and tuned out to be a #^&)^!*).
Alvin from PCM4LESS was the person that I credit for getting my combo to run right, but that was semi Mail order, I'd scan the car, send the info to him and he would send me back a tune file then I burned the chips myself.
If you want dyno tuning for your car the only person I know of that has a really good rep in the area for chip cars is Josh at http://www.jsspeedandcustom.com/
I'm actually going to have my car there within the few weeks for dyno/wide bands and he is going to tweak the tune if needed. (I think the tune is a bit rich at cruising, but want WOT verified as well).

I had to go all the way to jeff creech after 2 botched attemps.
93 is not easy to tune... From our first pull to out last with jeff we gained over 150 rwhp from a previous mailorder. This was a stock bottom end car.
I highly reccomend him, he is a smart guy.......long trip but do it right once..... we had a bad mail order and made 2 trips.....it was such a disaster working on this car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EGWC83xNdY
