Ran my best time so far this year, a 13.74. Lost to a GN and beat a Shelby Daytona on slicks. Also saw a Dodge Omni GLH on slicks run an 11.9 @ 118.

 

I was out there with some buds...got my best in my truck of 13.363@103.95.

 

Yeah that Omni was something else, wasn't it? I'm surprised he didn't break his arm with all that torque steer.

 

A bunch of us are going tonight.

Hows New Orleans?

 

Had some gumbo last night...hit or miss on that stuff.

Lots of women here in interesting outfits....some chick had a fishnet outfit on...not bad on a nice looking woman...but on a 300 lb. woman...blah...to me at least.

Just lots of work.

 

Didn't get into the 13's tonight but they had a $50 to the winner bracket race and I won that. Had to knock off a 12 second stang on ET Streets in the semi's and a 18 second Taurus in the finals. First win for me at track.

 

The Taurus bumped me in the second round. Nice kill on that 'stang, was that the black one with a Saleen wing on it? Dialed in at 12.20 I think?

 

Yeah, it was the black one. His dial was 12.78 and he ran a 12.75, after he redlit. I had to let off twice at the top of the track to keep from breaking out. Fun night!

 

Darkhorse, did you race that Diesel Ram? He ran a 12.96 against me during T&T.

 

Yeah, my car raced him. It was GREASE driving, I was done for the night and since his car is pretty much down and I was hungry I let him have a crack at it after he played around with the programming some.

 

Unfortunately that was me following that diesel truck down the track is Aaron's car. Even that late at night all I could see was the black smoke coming from his tailpipe. Congratulations on the win.

 

Any progress with the car?

I got a deal lined up in gettinga 4" Mufflex system...starting to part my car together again...

 

What happed to Satinless Works?

Aaron made progress, got his shift points sorted out and picked up a tenth. But the real winner was Chris, brand new ported 7cm turbine housing ran 16.9 @ 92mph @ 16psi of boost, yeee haaa. got the runs on video too.

Also on video a supercharged LT1 running 14s @ 102mph, that black Lightning, highly modded on slicks running 13.5s and a 10 second LS1
