Are they illegal in PA? I know that I cant have it open on the road but will a closed cutout fail me when inspection comes?

Thanks for help

Re: cutouts

all depends on the shop, Long tubes in general are "illegal" for emmisions purposes...but from what i've heard the visual is fading away.. once again it all depends on the shop u go to

Re: cutouts

I've had a cutout on my car since '03 and never had an issue with inspection. It dosen't effect emissons and it's only loud when it's open so really, it's a non-issue.
