Cecil 9/21, anyone else going?

I'm going down to Cecil this Saturday 9/21 for their test & tune day, I'm dying to see what it's going to run with the 4:10's and programming now. I gotta get some practice with the new setup before the Grove on 9/28 Anybody else going?

I was thinking of going to E-town this Saturday for the Trophy Marathon then running in the night bracket races. Gee, Cecil is closer. Sounds like a plan. I have to drive the Firebird to the track this weekend . This will be my first time at Cecil. Gregg what time will you be leaving. Maybe my neighbor (Mustang guy) will make the trek too.

Hey Kaz, it starts at 8am so I'll probably leave around 7. It's about 1 hour from me. What's up with your retirement talk? I hope everythings going ok. Let me know if you want to meet up and head down or anything.

Best of 8 runs Saturday was:

13.028 @106.43 1.941 60'

Had several runs in the 13.0xx's but just couldn't get there. I'm pretty sure with some better weather it would have made it, I don't think the 96% humidity helped me any! The car was hooking up nice though, I had several 1.9x 60' times. Oh well, I'll just have to give it another shot next Saturday

It was nice to see some F-bodies Saturday. I was the in the red Formula getting some passes in before bracket finals start next week. One of you guys ask me for tools and I got hung up in the staging lanes for about an hour and missed you. Sorry I couldn't help out. Any how, How about that traction! My last pass was a 1.80 60' with a 12.64 at 109.5 and I bent my twice reinforced Spohn Torque arm. So I have enough steel on the nose of the TA now to choke and elephant! It'l probably slow down due to the added weight!!! Sux to have such a heavy car! LOL

That was me I forgot my wrench to remove the plate on my Borla, I thought running it wide open might give me enough of a push to crack the 12's. It didn't do it though. I borrowed one of someone in the pits. Yea, with all those big boys running it sure did make for some nice traction! I ran several 1.9's which I've never done before. It was cool meeting you, I'm sure I'll be back to Cecil again to give it another shot before the end of the year.

Gregg
