The fact that I drive a supra isn't all there is to it. I mean it is my favorite car under 70k anyday for multiple reasons....but when it comes down to it, it's as simple as this: I'm a car guy.

Every car gets respect in it's out way. Im a fan of the sheer torque ls1's and lt1s can make, and I love the way they sound. If my supra could sound like that, I would want it to. Im a fan of how the supra handles, looks, how capable it is when turbocharged, etc.

Each car has its good things, and even if I see a "correctly" modified civic, I'll admit it looks nice.(although its rare)

This show isnt about me, It's about the car community as a whole, which encompasses many different aspects. The classic car guys are different from the domestics, are different from the import guys, are different from the european guys, etc. When you can get all of those guy in the same place without any hostility, it makes for some amazing shows.

All I want to see is an incredible show that everyone, including myself, can go to, enjoy, and be able to say afterwards: "I'm really glad I went to that show" As our show's reputation grows, so will our budget. As that happens, we can incorporate more unique things. I'm only a sophomore now, so i have this year and 2 more left as the car show chair. In that time I plan on making this show huge. But I can't do it without each and every type of car, because that's what its ultimately about, the cars and the people who come with them.

Hope that answers your question,
Bob

i find that most of the supra guys(im steriotyping here i know) think they own the world, and pretty much have no respect for any one... except maybe the NSX... its a shame.

lookin forward to this event tho!

i will be goin to millersville not this fall... but the one after that. im getin my 2yr edu degree at the school im at(im a freshman) then transpherin. so maybe ill see ya around in a year or so, lol

Re: CAR SHOW- Millersville, PA

Hey everyone,

Update time:
Were trying to figure out what songs and what types of music people want to hear at the show. If you guys have any songs/types of music in mind please feel free to suggest them. Also, how do you guys feel about techno/trance music?

Keep in mind this is a car show that encompases classic cars(generally older guys) as well as the younger crowd, so we are trying to appeal to all crowds with the music, so please suggest anything you think would be good.

Thanks guys,
Bob

techno and trance is fine.... if your at a club, not a car show, lol

since it is going to be a very mixed croud(i think). to me it would make the most sense to ahve a mix of music. dont play anyhting hardcore anything, no hard core rock, no hard core rap... play rock music thats almost considered pop. like classic tunes every one knows(ie walk this way aerosmith) and some newer hip hop kinds stuff(ie hate it or love it by g-unit)... you see waht im saying? or no, lol

hI, I'm the guy that had the 1st gen Camaro at the show last year. My opinion is to play a mix of music to give everyone something they like, but just keep it clean at least. I don't care what I hear but I do care what my young son hears. Good luck with the show.

That is why we are asking you guys this year....we werent exactly happy with the music that was being played last year either. There will definately me a mix of all types of music this year....oh, and just a lilttle tip, if you dont want to hear the music, park up at the top of the lot where it wont be as loud. Last year the sound system was soo bad you couldnt even hear the music unless you were right infront of it, so you guys must have been pretty close...Sorry you had to leave though, that is something we definately dont want!

Did you hear anything last year with profanities in it??? If so that definately wasn't supposed to happen, we try to make the show as family friendly as possible. This year we will be giving the Dj a song list that we feel will contain songs to suit everyone. The songs are all suposed to be the "radio-editied" versions as well, but over-sights will happen I supose.
I hope you decide to come back this year, we need your guys' input to make the show bigger and better.
