Post is in the Northeastern area section - Cantonracer and I live in an area covered under the Northeastern section, we are friends, we have other friends in the area covered under the Northeastern section.

I am saying his Z28 is slow, my Mustang is fast.

That's about as slow as I can go on that.

Why is Ohio part of the Northeastern region? That's lame. Should be part of the Michigan / Great Lakes region.

My dude - taught me a lot about internet smack talk but the apprentice has overtaken the master.

I will do the same on the track

Awesome!!! BTW, what's up w/ your Mustang? I don't see a 5" monster tach in any of the shots I thought that was the first mod done to any of them.

LOL - nice. I agree, I see a lot of tool Mustang owners who have a monster tach installed in a car that won't make power past 5200

Mustang is up and running great, i'm sitting here pondering whether to take it out to the track tonight for it's first runs since rebuilding the entire car and installing the turbo kit. I have some issues to work out but i'm itching

I miss my Z28

Both cars are slow! I bet the mustang runs mids 12's now instead of high 12's.

Did you end up making it out to the track? I am hoping to head up there in a few weeks to try out my new upgrades from this past winter.

What's up dude - long time no see. Got the car to the track and even with the issues, keep in mind it was running probably 4hrs before the track, I still went

12.04
11.66
11.54

Called it a night so that I could go home with no breakage. I fixed some of the issues and i'm working on it now (on break ) so it should be a little better by Tuesday when I head back up to D42.

The entire goal of this car was/is to beat my old Z28, 11.37, I think i'll accomplish that on Tuesday or very shortly after that.

FWIW - I can't touch Cantonracers car IMO, that ***** f'er runs good - and he had some major issues, never used his tbrake, short shifted, etc...

Yeah, it would be ugly for me

Thats cool. Sounds like the car is running good. What is all done to the mustang?
Hopefully we'll catch you guys up at 42 in the future. I hope to be in the low 11's when I get up there with the new suspension and motor rebuild(rings didn't seat on last years).

It's a 306'' Ported TrickFlow heads, E303 cam, no accessories, boxed intake, AOD trans with DirtyDog converter, 31 spline 3.55 rear, fully adjustable suspension w/coilovers and solid bushings - car weighs around 2900 w/me in it.

Oh, and a 67mm hairdryer.

Just installed an MSD6AL ignition with a 2Step - building 5lbs of boost in the driveway so tomorrow I hope to get in the low 1.6's-upper 1.5's 60'. I have the car running pretty damn good now too - just gotta keep working on the bugs.

Hoping to install my valve body tomorrow before the track.

Well, I had to ask since it looked like you were following the Fox Body modding book w/ the Draglites installed. Did you install too large of injector?

I'm only busting your *** because these are all my experiences w/ local Mustang owners.
