Anyone racing at Numidia this weekend?
Anyone planning on doing the money race at Numidia Mother's day? Since I FINALLY have the car back running I plan to jump in the points race Saturday night, and if I happen to knock the rust off I might try for the big money Sunday in the foot brake class. (hopefully I won't humiliate myself too badly!).

I'm taking the week off. Got my @ss handed to me this weekend. Time to reflect and take a deep breath.
John, any info on the 10K race on Memorial Day at Numidia? I was thinking about running for the big bucks. Got your PM about working way too much and having a broken car.
Jax, good luck with the pinks deal.

Yah tht's why my comment about being humilliated. I watched Harhart and Hock cutting lights as good and the guys in super and I'm going to go our there and run??? My plan is simple. Stay far away from them in the lanes and hope I get lucky when we ladder! I'm just going to use this year as a learning curve and hope I can run as many weekends as possible and just hope for the best.

John, I was told that it's no disgrace to loose to a hitter. RT's in time trials are different than during eliminations. Time shots everyone is on kill but tend to back off during eliminations not to go red. The Grove has Paul Warner, Elise Harhart, Bill Coburn, Tim Rambo, Dave Raser, Dave Sciaretta and 20 others who can hurt you. My plan it to stay away from no one, put the car on a conservitive .020 light, and hold enough to run the number.
Saturday in street I cut a .-015 vs a .072 then ran it out to a 12.054 on a 12.05 dial. Other car was .07 slow. Duah. Then in pro I was .042 vs .045, took the stripe by .014 and lost on a double breakout. I was 12.058 on a 12.07 dial, other was 10.909 on a 10.91 dial.
Sunday I cut 2 bad lights, .061 vs .008 and .060 vs .029. Not a whole lot you can do except for dump and hope. The .029 guy ran 10.000000 on a 10.0 dial. I was 11.968 on a 11.97 dial. Time shots I set the car up for a .030 light and was .033 and then put her on full kill and cut a .004 and .009. Backed off to a .020 light for eliminations and went south to .060 land. Driver error, driver error, driver error.
Camping this weekend and returning to the Grove on the 19th. Dispite my FUBAR I only droped to #4 in Street points. Don't ask about Pro.
I'll be looking for the flyer. Thanks.
