Nope never heard of it. Ok, so so far we've got 3 people in Queens/Brooklyn. Any more and we have a good number for a car meet. What do you guys think?

 

Never heard of Francis Lewis Blvd??? Man, I'm from Long Island, and I've heard of Francis Lewis Blvd. Anyway, I wouldn't think there would be too many newer F-bodies in the city or burroughs. Oh well.

Hey Formula,
LIFBA, is the Long Island F-Body Association. We meet the first Sunday of every month. The August meeting is coming up on the 4th. The website is www.lifba.com and the message board is available here LIFBA message board.
Check out the forums. Look in the "LIFBA Scheduled Events/Meetings" for info on when/where the meetings and hang outs are. There is also a picnic on July 28th.
I am a member, I just joined at the July meeting, so I'm still new.

Cool . Do you know how to get there from the L.I.E.? I live right next to it. The site says something about the Jones Beach Tower. Is that the one along that loooooong two lain road where you can turn around?

 

Well, I do know how to get there from the LIE, but it might be a round about way. Because I go from the north shore, on the Nassau/Suffolk border. I'm gonna tell you the way I go, but you might be able to find a better, shorter way.
You can take the LIE to where it intersects with the Sunken Meadow/Sagtikos Pkwy. (south). I think it's exit 35S, but I'm not positive. Take that to the Robert Moses Causeway (south). I don't know the exit number is but the sign will say "Ocean Beaches".
Take that over the first bridge. And then you will see signs for Ocean Pkwy (west). Take Ocean Pkwy and take the first turn around on your left. You will see the building on your right. It's a closed down building so when you see it, it is in that parking lot. You also can't miss all the cars

Thanks. I'm pretty sure I know most of the directions your talking about. But I will post on that site's board and hopefully someome from there knows it from Queens. I really want to go there. I never got to gather with fellow f-body people
