Question Anyone near Pittsburgh?

I was wondering if there is anyone close to Pittsburgh? I just bought a z28 and i dont have anyone with the same intrests(cars)as me to hang out with. Id like to finally make it to Pittsburgh Raceway Park this summer but it would s**k to go alone.

There are a few guys over there, head out to the track and talk to them when you see them there! Most of the guys are pretty personable and won't run you off!

Im from Ford City, about 4 miles south of danhr, I'll be down at PRP a lot this summer. I hear you on the nobody to hang out with. It sucks around here too. Nobody even notices my Z even though I blow by most of them.

I'm south of Pittsburgh. I'll be at PRP once the car is running again.

Check out www.pittspeed.com. You'll find a bunch of people that go to PRP, autocross, etc.

I saw a guy in ford city with an lt1 camaro with a bottle in it... any idea who that belongs to?

I dispise the fact there are other lt1's around me that I haven't stomped on yet.

I have no idea who has an LT1 with a bottle around here. There is an LS1 car running around with a stroker and NOS bottle in the back. Don't know if its for real or not. Black SS.

You haven't stomped me yet.. Let me know when you wanna put another kill in your book

Re: Anyone near Pittsburgh?

I live 5 minutes from pittsburgh. I'm just finishing up my 1997 formula. I know what you mean about nobody around here with these cars. Its hard to find anybody who knows anything about these cars around here. I plan on going to keystone/ pittsburgh raceway once I get everything in tune.

East of Pittsburgh here. I am about 1/2 hour from PRP., Go for most of the test and tunes. I have only run once this year. Heading out tomorrow, weather permitting.

Look for the slow maroon 94 TA. I usually park on the left side of the track.

Re: Anyone near Pittsburgh?

I'm up in Cheswick.
I drive the real slow black '96 formula with the transam front end.

I went to PRP last fall and really sucked for the first time out.
No idea what I was doing, lol.
There were a handful of LS-1s out there when I went. Lots of stangs. Lots.
There's a couple of nice f-bodies out by robinson town center.
Or they sound nice anyway. I always see them getting onto RT60 going to Weirton.

I got blown away by some guy with a red firebird (gmmg-Tom Henry?) with a silver hockey stick stripe on it on Rt28 South last year.
