I got my windows tinted less than a year ago. Although the car was registered in VA at the time, I got the tint at 35% (the legal limit for MD). I have since moved to MD and have started the process of getting the one time safety inspection that is required. When I went to go do that, my car passed everything except the window tint. Apparently, you need to go to the MVA to have the tint certified. When I went to go do this, the guy at the MVA measured my tint and said it was 33%. Now I am required to take it off for the shop to pass my inspection.

I think this is ridiculous. I still have the documentation that said my tint was 35%. Can someone please PM me with a name/location of a shop that will overlook the tinted windows?
