Have you singed up yet?

A little info for anyone who reads this in the future from the mission statement that i wrote. Currently we are redesiging the home page, so some of the links are not active, but the message board works, as well as the members and performance sections with cool HP calculators.

Currently we have almost 300 members.

Purpose and History of Club:
The GCFBA was founded in order to provide a gathering place for F-body
car enthusiasts. The orginal site was designed by Brian so that he could
"outnumber" the mustangs at the drag strip. Things started slowly, with
just a few members. As time passed however, the club grew steadily, into
its present form today. The site originally only consisted of a message
board, and members rides page complete with pictures and modifications of
each member's car. As time passed, the GCFBA wed site was shut for redesign
purpases, which left only the message board. Brian became busy and was
unable to complete the new site. In December 2002, Chris, with Brian's
aprroval, launched the present day version of the GCFBA, which has hundreds
of members!

Goals of CLub:
1.) Meet fellow local F-body enthusiast and enjoy their company and knowledge
2.) Make our cars AFAP (As fast as Possible)
3.) Not only get to know each other by our screen names, but regularly meet
each other at planned or random GCFBA events. Some events in the past have
included dyno day, picnics at Winton Woods, Dave and Buster party, pizza
get togethers, drag strip, go-kart racing etc.

Who we are:
Just a bunch of guys and gals who share a passion about automobiles.

FAQ about club

What if I dont have an F body?
Everyone is welcome here at GCFBA as long as you are into cars and are respectful.
We have F-body owners, import owners, some people who dont even drive yet, and
'cough', yes, there are quite a few stang guys around too.

How much does GCFBA cost?
The club is completely free to join and use all of its services. Sometimes for
special events, we may ask you chip in a few bucks to cover costs if you plan on
attending that event.

Im not so sure about the dayton area.

Middletown is always good for getting some races, but you run the risk of getting into 9 and 10 sec trailor cars that people bring out and run on the street. However, from what i have seen, the cops are very cool, and while they dont endorse the racing, they will turn their backs to it.

Down here in cincinnati, western hills is my favorite choice for racing, and crusing, but the cops have been cracking down lately.

cya around.
