My mighty LT1 may be dead. I'll find out for sure by Friday night. Would I be allowed to run my American truck (2002 Trailblazer)? I prepaid for 2 classes. Thanks.

can you register at the gate? I don't want to preregister and then not have the car running. It's iffy right now as to whether or not all the bugs are worked out of it...

Kazman, yes as long as it's an american car and it meets the requirement of the class tire wise you can run it.

Zupman, yes you can pay at the gate the price is the same. We just need pre pay numbers to lessen the cost of the track. Hope you can make it there. It's starting to look good this year.

Thanks. If the Formula is officially pronounced dead expect to see a 16.70 truck driving the 12 second cars crazy.

What happened???

I still havn't run my car yet this year. I was planning to go to the Grove 5/11 but ran into a little argument with my wife the other day, something about it being mothers day and our anniversary the same weekend sheesh! Anyway, she won and I'm not going to the one single Fbody event at the Grove all year which is ten freaking minutes away from me!!!

Can you tell I'm mad I'm not going?

Anyway, I will be at the AIS 5/17, no doubt

Gregg, you gota keep em happy on the home front. The engine should of been done this winter. Very tired LT1. I have no power, and it doesn't want to rev. I'm in the process of replacing the wires again. If the new wires doesn't do the trick it is something internal. valves or pistons. Its been over-reved a number of times. If that's the case I'll just drop in a crate engine. Bad part will be that the car will be down for 3 to 4 weeks. See ya at Cecil either way.

Is the car throwing any codes? Opti or coil come to mind, I would check each of those out. Hope you get it straightened out soon, maybe it's not something major.

I'm going to drive down anyway even if its rainging here. Just to be sure... wouldnt be the first time I left my house in the rain and ended up being a great day. But assuming it does rain all day like the weather is predicting, when is the rain date? Please dont tell me Sunday...
