2009 East Coast F-Body Nationals

The 2009 East Coast F-body Nationals will be held at Island Dragway in Great Meadows, NJ on Sunday, August 9th. You don't have to wait around for the main even to get out to the track though, we will be kicking the weekend off with the traditional F-body vs. Mustang action on during Island Dragway's Friday Street Night on August 7th.

The 2009 East Coast Nats are set to feature four exciting drag racing classes, two index and two traditional brackets, as well as the great car show that we have all come to expect from the NJFBOA's Anniversary celebration.

While the action on the track and show field will be all about GM's pony car platform, everyone is welcome. As with all of our great NJFBOA events it is open to all owners, friends, and fans of the F-body platform.

I won't be able to make it this year. I have commintments at another track for that weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Perhaps I can bring up the Mustang on Friday night. I spent the past weekend setting up the 14 second pony to shallow stage. He's ready to stomp some F-body's.

What a bunch of LT1 cry babies. I got a little mustang and I plan to show up Friday night to support the event. Scrap those LT1 clunkers so you can get a real engine and be able to show up. Excuses, excuses, excuses.

I plan to be there with my LT1, even though it will be my first time bracket racing and 2nd time on a track with the car. Does anybody know how much the entry fee will be?

Sorry I didn't see your post in time. Hope you made it out. The event ended ugly with a pair of stangs in the final.

Yeah, I made it out there. That was so much fun. I got knocked out in the 2nd round but still had a blast. I liked how they were letting the people who got eliminated still get in T&T.

Did you have the white formula dialed 13.6 something??? The track was very layed back and pretty much just let you run as much as you wanted.
