2006 East Coast F-Body Nationals

The East Coast F-Body Natioanls is an event hosted by the New Jersey F-Body Owners Association each year to celebrate our clubs anniversary. We feature a car show, bracket and heads up drag racing, give aways, prizes, and much much more.

The 2006 East Coast Nats are going to be a bit expanded from the '05 Nats. The addition of an Open Electronics Bracket, some modifications to the car show ballots, the addition of several new special awards in the car show, and an earlier start in the planning and sponsor hunting will make this year's Nats even more fun than last.

I hope to have a mid 10 sec car by then but only time will tall. If its running that good on some squeeze I'll run that heads up class for the fun. Is it on a pro tree?

yup, pro tree.
we have started working on sponsorships now that the classes are pretty much sorted out. hopefully we will be able to start making announcements with in the next few weeks about that.
so far we know we will have goodie bags to hand out to the first 500 people to come through the gates courtesy of Year One.

Thats good cause the only way I would have even a remote chance against a 9 sec car is to just skool him on the tree and hope he breaks at the line...

full cage? Na its just fine the way it is. I think an 8pt is good to 10.0 right? After this winters mods I'll be happy to see 11.5's on motor and maybe some mid 10's if I can get a 150 shot to the ground. But honestly I would be happy to see a 10.anything.

I hope to be there in the Open Electronics Bracket running 12.0's. Have to move to this class with Projectz28 in the slick tire class and 97TranAm in the drag radial class there no place else to run. And the fact that its the only class I can run with out windshield wipers.

I wonder if I would qualify for that "Show n Go" class? If I do that... that'll open the DR bracket for ya Jim.

show and go is in a holding pattern. we really wanna get it off the ground right, just have to plan out the lanes for it. shouldn't be a problem though.

For one of these races someday I'm going to bring out my mom's 97 Z28. It's never seen the track.

Bring it out girley-girl. It would be fun to watch the guy's expressions as you cleaned house. As always one of my car's are always available to you or Rick.

Re: 2006 East Coast F-Body Nationals

hey gang,
wanted to get some feedback on an idea. there has been some discussion of trying to get a mustang vs f-body the friday before the nats.
it would be added to the normal friday night test and tune/grudge lanes.
anyone up for a little bracket racing friday night and breaking some mustangs hearts?

hehe
