Here is another way to find out if you could possibly benefit....

(for the ones with scanners that is)

Log a WOT run and pay attention to your map sensor readings.

if you see lots of vacum building up inside the Intake manifold at HIGH RPMs then you have and obstruction. Either your TB, MAF or Air Filter ducting (plus air filter that is), or all of them, then you could benefit from it. First find out what is more restrictive though.. cause if your air filter is plugged up......... you see where I am going to with this response?

BUT If you only see but a minor or no vacum build up at HIGH RPMs then your Intake is more than enough to your engine application. Save your cash.

NOW if you just want to OWN the DAM THING like I do (want to own that is) they Buy it NOW!!! and forget about HP for the time being. Just get it and save your time on this post. Wait Wait you still need some kinda excuse to buy it for no reason right??

My MAF seems to be working fine so I dont have an excuse reason

Uhm, why is my name in your post?

I've been running the Z06 MAF, the real GM one, not the hacked Grantenelli one, for most likely longer than anyone on this board. I got mine when the Vette guys were still arguing among themselves why the screen was removed on the '02 Z06's... Back on very early '02. I don't claim to know everything, just with what I have experience with, and the Z06 MAF I do. Infact when I went looking for the PCM table for the Z06 MAF, there was none, I had to get mine from a '02 Vette, just has luck had it, one of my good friends had just bought one, along with LS1 edit by my reccomendation.

Confusion, yes, a LOT of things on this board can be confusing, just look at all the Camshaft Posts... heck try to find more than opinion in one of those posts... And you're right, I've found personal research and personal experience a lot more useful on a lot of topics than many of the posts here. But through those experiences I gain knownedge, and try to convey that to others.
