i have to replace the water pump on my motor and i went today to see how much they are...for a REMAN WP for a 95 Z is 103 bucks, but the WP for the impy is only 40...i compared them next to each other and the only difference is the heater outlets...

the Z has 2 on the bottom and one on top...the impy one has 1 one the bottom and one on the top...

Why is it so much less?

and what are the oulets exactly for?...

 

The 'extra' outlet on the Z water pump is for the 'bypass' hose to the radiator..

 

is that the only difference?....so its another 60 bucks for a bypass?....then funny thing is, the IMP WP has the same hole there, but its threaded for a plug
