Z28 - softer suspension for straight-line...

SS - tighter suspension for slalom...

By exhaust I assume you mean headers, as they already have very good CAT back set ups.

Yeah I highly doubt there is a 20hp difference just because of the different catback. They're both just as fast and vary just as much so the major difference is suspension and appearance.

and of course there are fewer numbers of SS's than there are Z28's...plus the SS's each have a production number which is pretty cool...

there's no need to assume every SS owner has an ego...my car wasnt much more than a z28 so i got what i wanted and dont have to deal with salad shooters and ugly flat hoods...to each their own...

if we're talking about just LT1's than if i were you i would plan on getting a Z unless you happen to come across an ss, but they arent everywhere

eek someone got deffencive without be provoked!

Z's are cheaper in general. SS's cost more, but thats obviously cuz they are of a more valuble/collectable nature.

get a z28...spend the rest on mods....you won't be kidding anyone by saying that the LT1 SS is fast enough. 12's or bust!

12's or bust

11's or bust

10's or bust

Single digits...

It's a never ending cycle. Until you run out of money anyway.
