I am fairly sure that the Z06 and C5 calipers are the same.
the brake ducts differ on the c5/z06 and a few othre things.
I might be wrong, but I can say this after driving it-

THOSE FAWKING BRAKES ARE TOUCHY
I went to cover the brakes and the car was stopped

ZO6 uses a different caliper I believe, there are two different PN's for the C5 and the ZO6. Maybe its a paint code.

Z06 calipers are the exact same caliper as a normal C5, except the Z06 is powder coated red and is about $1 cheaper than the standard C5. $399 is too much to spend for just the fronts. Call Team Chevrolet. I got mine there for less than $90 /ea shipped.

A good idea would be to have the adapter brackets that would allow you to essential just bolt on the calipers...There was a couple remaining sets left and SStrokerAce bought the last known one to duplicate...Instead of being made out of steel it would be made out of aircraft aluminum...defenilty email or PM him to find out more.

I have this on my car. I have the z06 red calipers. Also, looking at my 2001 vette side by side, the calipers are identical. The zo6's are just red. Both PBR made in Australia.

At least, brackets, calipers, and lines. Go steel, rubber lines suck, and the Fbod needs all the help it can get. You never really feel like the brakes are that bad, until you get into a car with good brakes, and I dont mean a Vette.

C5 & Z06 calipers are exactly the same except for color.

I intalled Bob Bishop's brackets and bought a complete C5 setup from a guy on Corvetteforum.com that included rotors, calipers, pads, caliper brackets and lines.

Like I said, everything you need to know is at www.nashvillespeed.com

Its a business I used to run and we sold a C5 brake conversion. The guy who makes the brackets (Bob Bishop) still sells them privately.

I have left the photos, instructions, parts lists with GM part numbers, etc. etc....everything you need to know....still up at the website.

I paid $60.00 for the front braided brake lines. That was not bad because the kit is over $100. and the EARLS LT1 or LS1 5 piece kit for the rear 3 lines will be $112.00 plus $7.00 S&H. I'll have to dig up the phone # of the 2 places I ordered the parts from. e-mail me if you need that info. supermo26@hotmail.com

I heard elsewhere (and I could be very wrong) that the rear braided lines from a ls1 fbod or corvette work better in the front. Something about the lines being just the right lenght.

If I recall, it was discussed on the cl-f-body mailing list.
