your opinions please

my 94 z28 a4 has a constant misfire type thing. when first started up, at idle and at any and all rpm. so far i have replaced the o2's and checked the wires for arching. i am thinking that it is my opti but the posts that i have searched about the opti always attribute it to a certain rpm or rpm band. can the opti cause a constant stumble/miss at all times regardless of rpm/gear? i am a bit of a newb to the car thing so i would greatly appreciate any and all ideas.
thanks!

could the plugs being fouled make that much difference ?
it's a pretty violent shake coming from the engine.

You may even have an open plug wire. Plugs and plug wires would be a good thing to do if there are many miles on them. Also check all connections on the coil.

the plug wires are ok i have alredy checked them and they are only two weeks old.
and everything is hooked up tight and screwed in all the way.
can an opti miss all the time? is that an opti symptom? or is it always an intermittent miss?
from what i have read it is more of an all or nothing deal with the opti.(it works or it doesn't)
