mac headers, no cat, cut out, too loud, so i keep it capped and it flows thru a hooker aerochamber muffler, which i really like.

JEt hot headers.... 3" y--> hi-flo cat ---> 3" flowmaster.

WAY too quiet at idle. Way too high pitched when your on it. Sounds terrible IMO. Flowmaster sounds like crap... I have a hooker aerochamber muffler ready to put on, just no $$

Hooker LTs thru a borla catback (no tips...its dumped). Its about right for me - sounds like a stock car with a "loud" catback.

I'd like to put a bullet in the ipipe to bring it a down a hair.

Cam, Jet-Hot LTs, Hooker/Jet-Hot Y-pipe, no cats, Magnaflow catback.
It's loud and sounds good. I'm getting used to it, but a little quiter at cruising speeds would've been even better.

I'm sure you've seen the clip already, but here it is again.

AS&M headers, from two cats to one high flow cat, Borla out the back. A bit on the loud side but it really doesn't bother me

Hooker LT's, IRS OR y-pipe, SLP loudmouth
and no interior, daily driver and no stereo, its a lil loud. I really cant get on it very often cuz it draws alot of attention. thinking of buying a chambered muffler to replace the resanator, i dont like the "dynomouth" setup on some friends cars, so i might try a "chamberedmouth" setup

Jet Hot LT, 3" ORP, 3" exhaust pipe, 12" bullet muffler, Magnaflow muffler [3"], 2 1/2" tailpipes w/SS tips. Had to add the bullet to quiet it down as everyone within a 1/2 mile could hear it when I got on it.

Thats exactly what i have and its too loud. On the freeway it gives me a headache. I knew I had to post it different, I kept asking how to quiet it down and no one replied. Do you think just a different muffler would help? The reverb is brutal.

Mac headers, Straight Pipe, SLP 2 on the Left...

Quiet enough under 2k, above 2.5k it screams nicely... I get compliments from others on the sound, even the dedicated flowmaster guys.

Mine is both, quiet and loud.....At a push of a button.

I have LT headers, Dual Random Cats on a 3 inch Y pipe, Borla Catback with DMH-Ecutout for the Borla.

Here are some Video Sound Clips of it:
(you will need Quicktime to view):

DMH Lil' Burnout

Open/Closed DMH E-cutout Demo

Here is my write up with pics of the install and product review:

http://camaroz28.cardomain.com/memberpage/342629/5

It will get even louder in Jan/Feb when I have mufflex make a custom Y-pipe with NO cats.

Hope that help,
Claude
