You don't have to remove the alternator to pull the pass valve cover

I used to pull it everytime I had to make a valve adjustment, but its not necessary---just a lot easier . Got to wondering, and then I tried it. You can finagle the valve cover out without pulling the alternator.

I do it with comp pro mags and their locks. But I have cut the hell out of the cover, just for that reason.

Excellent point - I overlooked that!

I have no "guts" in the valve covers.
