yet another cutout question
yet another cutout question
I want to make my car louder so probably will go with a cutout. But I have heard someone say it will drop my bottom end torque and lower my mileage. Is this true? Also, will it drop my pressure?
I don't see why it would lower you torque. I can't really answer the mpg question I never measured it but I would assume you would stay the same or even gain a little. The cutout would make the engine more efficient because it would get rid of the exhaust faster. Remember an engine is just like an air pump. The cutout is VERY loud and you will see about a 10hp gain depending on mods.
I dunno what it will do to my car then. I don't have any mods. But I would think it would be loud. My roomie has a truck without a muffler, and he has alot of pipe going to the back, and that is loud, so i would think it would be loud for me.
