XE224/230 110LSA, stock heads dyno results!

Well after a year of running this cam I finally decided to see what it could put down on the dyno. Here's the chart. If you dont feel like looking at it.. I put down 338hp/339tq spinning the motor to 5500 rpm. Had I gone to 6k I am sure the hp numbers would be higher since the run before this and prior to some fuel tweeking I put down 335 hp at 5800 rpm.

Damn, that is pretty impressive seeing that you only spun it to 5500rpms. Nice.

I noticed that too but on my second run which I dont have scanned to show, the graph didnt spike like that and showed 335 rwhp.. the graph I hosted is 5-10 rwhp in more in spots across the board.

No sense stressing it any more than is necessary. 335 @ 6800... she's probably given up way before if you're using the 224 in a 350.

The numbers look great though, considering the work. I bet you could get another 40-50hp out of that with some good head work and tweaking.

Good luck.

That was a typo.. Theres no way Id ever intentially spin it to 6800. What I meant to say was 5800.

Are these stock unported heads or do they have some port work done to them? I'm in the middle of a 355 LT1 build up for my 3rd gen and am having a 3 angle valve job done and doing some port matching but can't decide on what cam I want to go with that's why I ask.

The heads are stock and this is a hydualic roller cam.

Re: XE224/230 110LSA, stock heads dyno results!

Nice numbers! I have the same cam (except for a 112 LSA) with stock heads and I put down 331 RWHP and 343RWTQ. LT1's are too much fun!
