Thought i would post this up for anybody trying figure out what cam to go with or anyone doing a search in the future.

Ran last night night for the first time with the mods in my sig. It was pretty hot, probably mid 80s with some humidity. Track elevation was 3100 ft.

Best run of the night was a 13.2 @106mph with a 2.0 60ft. For some reason i could not hook up with my BFG drag radials, usually get pretty consistent low 1.8 60' times. If i could have got that 60' undercontrol im sure i could have hit a high 12. Hopefully this winter when it cools off here in AZ i can get my 12.xxx slip

Corrected for elevation that time comes out to a 12.93 @ 108.5

Everyone i talked said they were running slower than they usually do.

I liked your car a lot man. Very clean. I was the one with the Black z28 out there. But just wanted to let you know that your 13.2 run is pretty damn good. Our track is HORRIBLE traction wise, and with the elevation, the heat and the humidity, those are some impressive numbers. I'd venture a guess to say 12.6's at firebird up in phoenix. At at least a semi-well preped track.

Thanks for the compliments. Yes, i think i will run much better than in Phoenix, thats actually where i usually run. last winter before the cam and rr's i was running 13.5 @ 104 with 1.8 60' times in phoenix.

I was running different drag radials than i usually do. Normally i run a 315/35/17 nitto on my 17x11's but last night i was using the 255/50/16 BFG's on stock wheels. I wasnt sure if it was the tire size making the difference or what. My friends were telling me that i wasnt heating them up enough. "oh, you gotta get those bfgs hotter than the nittos". Didnt matter though, short or long they didnt hook. Couple of my burnouts were overkill. One of them the guy i was racing had already staged before i was done.

BTW, i think i saw your car, driving by in the pits, I remeber it b/c i love the borla exhuast. It looked really clean too.

You have AIM or anything? When it cools off some im gunna make a trip up to firebird if your interested. Ive got a good freind up their that i run with.
