XE 230/236 and LT4 Heads

I have ordered my XE 230/236 112lsa. I will be ordering my LT4 heads and intake later this afternoon. My question is what springs and retainers to use with these heads and this cam using 1.6 rr's. And for that matter, what 1.6rr's would yall recommend. The lift with 1.6 rr's is .544/.555.

btw, i will be having the new heads and intake ported and polished if that makes a difference.

thanks in advance.

Rockers - get CC Pro Mag 1.6 ratio, non-self aligning, 7/16 stud size. Then get some 7/16 studs

Springs/Retainers - call CC and see what they recommend, then have your head porter do the setup

Good Luck!!!

Comp 987 springs are a good match to the 1.6 NSA rr's...

You'll need to machine the spring perches.

Another option would be to go with the Crane 10308 spring kit. No machining will be required to your stock seats and they handle up to .600 lift and 7000 RPM. IMO
