How do you like that cam? I've been running it for about 600miles, and I think I lost a lot of low end torque.

Re: XE 224/230 video

Haven't driven it yet. Still have to run it at 2k RPMs for 15 mins, then I can go drive it. I'll let you know.

I drove Javier97Z28's when he had the 224/230 and I loved it. Felt like my car with bolt-ons and a 100 shot.

Re: XE 224/230 video

Just drove it about 35 miles. Pulls hard as hell, and I wouldn't be able to tell if I lost low end anyways since I have a 3200 stall.

I have this cam and love it. I can't wait to get to the track and see how it performs.

Why, roller cams require no breakin, hell breakin lube has been speculated to caused damage to some roller cam motors.

Flat tappets required a 20 minute above idle breakin, on a roller motor start it make sure everything is adjusted and not leaking, maybe shut down and change the oil then enjoy.

Snapped my stock torque arm, and I'm happy as **** about that because with the noises it was making, I thought my transmission was toast.

Most of the time you won't loose tq. You just gain so much hp at the top, it makes the bottom SEEM insignificant when comparing. Ive got way more tq now and my cam is alot bigger than the 224/230.
