Got a 97 Z28, I basicaly had it for 3 years and didnt do anything to except cold air intake and flows... im looking on how can i get at least 420 hp with it 50 legal. i got slp shorty headers coming too, so... wat do u think? i also want to be not so hard on my pockets...

Don't know what is hard on the pockets is for you. You'll need heads and cam plus other mods. Here is a site with a good reputation that is reasonably priced for what you get. It will also state what is needed with the package to achieve your goal.

Either heads/cam or forced induction. If you are in Cali. though and have to meet their strict standards, it might be easier just to run the nitrous.

 

run a blower or nitrous. you wont get **** outa cali with a cam and heads. also, 420 horse wont be easy on any pockets even if you got supercharger for free, its the little stuff that nickle and dimes you to death then the suporting mods to make such power.

 

swap in an ls7, or an ls2 and some boost.
