WTF!? Look at my MAP sensor!

Look at the seal! You can see all the crap on the corner of it, I'm guessing that's my vacuum leak right there?

The funny thing is that a new map sensor does not come with the seal!
Just get an o-ring at te parts store.
Dont bother changing the sensor if it still works ok.

Hi Matt!

Just call Jason Cromer and tell him to order you the O-ring or Grommet for the Map Sensor because a new sensor won't come with one.

No use in replacing sensor unless it is bad!

Have a goodone Lee!

Ok thanks....
What should I use to get all the carbon off? A tooth brush and carb cleaner?

Hylemar? What's that?

I don't want to use anything that will get sucked into the intake...

Can I get this rubber seal from anywhere else? Jason Cromer isn't in, I just called.

Hylemar is a non-solidifying sealant and is not effected by gasoline like silicone. It stays kinda tacky, so it doesn't get 'rubbery' like silicone. Available at most every parts store. It's freat stuff....use it everywhere where silicone is not recommended. )It won't get sucked into your intake.
