i just got my b&m stall converter in today... so i was checkin it out... didn't have time to look in detail before i rushed off to work...

its a B&M 11" 2400 torqmaster

so i just come home... and im admiring it, along with all my other parts on the bedroom floor, when something just doesn't look right to me... the converter is suppose to be 11".... looks to big... i measure the whole converter itself, and it actually just a touch over 12" in diameter...?? am i not suppose to actually measure the whole thing? like the outer casing? or did summit f*ck me over?!?

 

I think it might be 11" inches on the inside and 12 on the outside, sorry i dont know that much on converters yet

 

any else got an opinion???

let me know if its an opinion or if you *know* for sure...

this is really buggin me... i need to install this converter day after tomarrow...

 

I'm not sure either but im guessing the 11 inchess is the turbine size Im sure its fine... But you may want to confirm it has the right part number on it or somthing like that.

 

Yeah i'm also not 100% sure either. But on mine for my mustang i used to have was the same way. So i'm pretty sure its for the inside the not the entire caseing.
