wp/timing cover ?

I've done the searches about installing a double roller timing chain and a elec wp. I don't seem to be finding any info about what was done about the hole left in the timing cover from the water pump drive. Did you install a freeze plug into it, or did you have it welded up.

thanks in advance for any info

Paul

Re: wp/timing cover ?

Both will work, I didn't know what size freeze plug or where to get it from, so I welded mine.
